Once your mailbox is connected, Facthory gives you two complementary ways to work: smart search to locate messages precisely, and a grounded assistant that answers questions using your actual threads.
Search understands both keywords and meaning, and it combines them with precise filters:
By person. Type a sender or recipient by name — even names with accents or non-English spelling — and Facthory resolves the right person from your contacts. If nobody matches, you get an empty result rather than a mailbox-wide guess.
By topic or wording. Describe what a message was about; semantic search finds it even when your words are not an exact match.
By time, status, and attachments. Narrow to a date range, read or unread, has-attachments, or sent versus received.
Combine filters. For example, search a person plus a topic plus this month to jump straight to the thread you have in mind.
Open the assistant in Email mode and ask in plain language, for example:
What did this client last ask me to send them?
Summarize where the renewal conversation stands.
Which open threads are waiting on my reply this week?
Answers are grounded in your real messages: the assistant cites the emails it used, so you can trust and verify every response. It never invents senders, dates, or content.
Any message opens in a thread view that shows the full conversation, oldest to newest, so you have complete context before you act. From a search result or an assistant citation, one click takes you to the whole exchange.
From a result, open it in the assistant to keep working with it as context.
Ask the assistant to draft a reply — it uses the full thread and your writing tone (see the next guide).
Jump from a meeting-related message to its calendar entry and response state.
Be specific about the person or company when you can — it sharpens both search and answers.
Ask one clear question at a time for the cleanest, best-cited answers.
Use filters to scope large mailboxes before asking broad questions.
Priorities, smart replies and your writing tone — turn a found thread into a polished reply.
Rules and automations — automate the patterns you find yourself repeating.
